Accusing trucking company of double brokering baselessly

We are writing to formally address the accusation made by Traffic Tech Inc. personnel that our company was involved in double brokering. This allegation is completelly baseless and had caused unnecessary harm to our business and reputation. At no point for 23 years our company double broker any load. Unfortunately, our email address was briefly compromised by a scammer for several hours, during which unauthorized communications may have occurred. The issue was immediately identified and resolved. Importantly, during this period, no loads were moved by us under false pretenses. It is deeply concerning that Traffic Tech personnel failed to conduct basic due diligence by verifying dispatch information directly with our company before making such accusations. If someone fraudulently assumed our identity and accepted a load, that was the act of scammer - not our company. Given our many years of cooperation and good business relationship with Traffic Tech, we find this behavior both unethical and unacceptable. We expect that these baseless accusations be withdrawn immediately and that any further concerns be directed to us with proper verification, rather than dumping trucking company reputation without cause.

They canceled after they sold the load. The broker removed me from the load while I was in the process of completing the carrier packet, waiting to be cleared in their system. Meanwhile, the load was covered by another carrier, resulting in a significant waste of time. It seems likely that the broker re-sold the load.
