  False Assurances

  Reason: Accessorial non payment (detention, TONU, lumper, layover, redelivery)

  Very disappointing experience with this brokerage. The shipper loaded the trailer incorrectly even though we clearly told them our delivery order. The broker confirmed the load and gave us the green light to leave, but an hour later blamed us for the mistake and made us return to the shipper to fix it. Because of this delay, we missed our delivery times. The broker claimed they had contacts at Food Lion and Walmart and that both would work us in, but when our driver arrived both DCs refused the load due to no appointment. What should have been a next-day delivery turned into a 4-day delay. The broker promised layover and extra compensation (we have email proof), but after delivery they said the customer denied it and paid nothing. Very poor communication, false assurances, and no accountability. We would strongly recommend carriers to be cautious when working with this brokerage.
