Unprofessional and Completely Unreasonable – Do Not Work With Them: BILL MARTINEZ DST LOGISTICS, INC. 444 SPRING CREEK PLACE SPRINGVILLE, UT 84663 PHONE: (385) 685-5004 Our company had a highly unprofessional experience with this brokerage. We accepted a load (#715413) and were fully ELD integrated with Trucker Tools, as clearly communicated in advance. Despite this, the broker failed to assign the truck properly in their system, and then blamed us for not being tracked — a problem completely on their end. What followed was a threat of a $350 fine on a $400 load. That’s an 87.5% penalty for a system failure we had no control over. We made every attempt to cooperate, including providing proof of integration and communication, but were still hit with a FreightGuard report after we refused to accept such an unfair fee. To make matters worse, they filed a false Carrier411 report, claiming we canceled due to the rate — which is completely false. We clearly stated in writing that the cancellation was due to their inability to track the load using the truck number through Trucker Tools, not the rate. They intentionally misrepresented the situation using deceptive language in their Carrier411 filing. We escalated the matter to their VP, Gabe Lanvatter, and despite being presented with clear facts and screenshots, he chose to ignore the issue entirely. No response. No accountability. This was not just a bad experience — it was a textbook example of how not to treat a carrier. If you’re a trucking company that values fairness and professionalism, avoid this broker. They will lie, shift blame, and report you to cover up their own internal failures.
