This may be one a few bad reviews i ever done in a course of 10 years . This company is one of the most dishonest company and routinely withholds drivers’ hard-earned money. They confirmed tracking was active, there were no complaints during transit, and after delivery there was no revised rate confirmation showing any deductions. Yet they still decided to keep $250, using the ridiculous excuse that the load was “not tracked.” This is not the first time. On a previous load, they withheld $450 over an absurd claim from the receiver about a safety vest — even though my driver had all required safety equipment. These are not mistakes. This is a pattern. They invent excuses after delivery to avoid paying in full. If you value your time and your money, stay far away from this company.

Unresponsive!
Reason: Communication issue
This is by far one of the worst brokers we have ever worked with. We have been having issues with the receiver for the last five days and have been trying to get in contact with the brokerage company. Our calls are going straight to voicemail, and they are not responding to our emails. I contacted their carrier relations department and asked to speak with a manager, but he did not help either. He kept telling me to call the broker. The original broker is nowhere to be found and is not answering any calls. Ridiculous!!!

I called about a load last year. Broker asked me about leasing a company under mines to keep contract with Armstrong. Turned to be a big scam and now my company can’t get work. These ppl know the people in their company that’s doing the scamming but yet they coming after the truckers who been scammed by someone in their company. I’m taking legal action. These ppl don’t care who they hurt. Be aware of this Luis Tangassi guy.

Failure to pay detention
Reason: Accessorial non payment (detention, TONU, lumper, layover, redelivery)
We moved a load for ATG from Longview TX to Harahan LA. We sat 5 1/2 hours at the receiver. We requested detention time. Then we requested it again, and again, and again. All emails went unanswered. We called the broker and no one answered the phone. Repeatedly we reached out to them for a new Rate Con to include our detention. They ghosted us. We have now emailed their customer and notified them that we will invoice them if we are unable to collect from ATG as is permitted under American law. We have placed ATG on our DNU list and recommend carriers avoid using this broker. Be mindful, their detention policy is 3 hours free, $35 thereafter. This does not align with the industry standard.

To all carriers
Some of these carriers are salty and post comments based on feelings. They do not realize that they are responsible for doing a good job on the load and make mistakes. When we (brokers) try to explain to them how to do their job, they come here to post this nonsense. Mediocre people don't accept criticism and run to this website to post trash. If you are a bad professional driver, learn how to listen to brokers to improve, and there is nothing wrong with that. You may be good and better at driving but there are a lot of details to this job that you don't want to pay attention to because of your high ego and stubbornness !

This platform is not for you to review your own company and leave a 5 star review. I will be having a conversation with the owners to have your login removed. Carriers may be "salty" because you ghost them on payment. I understand and agree carriers can "whine" a lot, but at the same time, brokers like ATG give carriers a bad taste in their mouths. We do not ask for much as a carrier. Just pay us a fair wage and communicate with us. If, after I submit the POD I request detention pay via a new RC and you do not respond to any of my emails or pick up the phone, I am definitely going to be "salty" and bill your customer directly per US law. Place integrity over profits and you can build a reliable carrier network of the best carriers in the industry that will sing your praise.

Refusal to pay detention fees . Below is a timeline of events related to Load 3126025-1: Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 9:28 AM – We informed Mark Moors that we needed a pickup number for the load. We had difficulties in getting a correct pickup number for hours. Pickup Issues: The pickup number provided on Tuesday was incorrect and intended for Wednesday. Another pickup number provided was for Friday, causing further delays and confusion. Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 11:18 AM – We requested Mark to issue a TONU (Truck Order Not Used) because the shipper was not loading the driver. Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 7:19 PM – We informed Mark: “My driver has been there for a while now... they are not loading him.” Mark responded: "Ok. Just keep track of time and let me know when he is loaded." October 24, 2024, 9:44 AM – Upon arrival at the delivery location, we were informed that the receiver would not unload the driver until Friday, as it was their designated day to handle potatoes. Mark Moors has now stated that there will be no detention paid for the load, despite the delays being beyond our control and despite the earlier confirmation from him ""Ok. Just keep track of time and let me know when he is loaded."" We are also requesting layover compensation for the driver due to the extended wait at the delivery location. Given the situation, it is clear that the driver arrived on time and that the delays were caused by issues with the pickup number and receiver’s schedule—factors outside of our control. Mark’s refusal to cover detention and layover fees is unreasonable and does not align with the events that transpired and clearly breaches the contractual terms and agreements.

Overweight, This customer has overloaded us several times prior, we can not legally drive over 80K and truck is very low on fuel already, so there is nothing we can do to make it legal. However, the customer is saying that "Please have the driver return we will remove the entire load. There will be no compensation."

Load number: 2656787-1 Pick up Vegas, delivery in Stanton, TX pick up 4th, delivery 6th december Everything was loaded by hand at shipper - driver spent 13 hrs there, this was reported and the BOL with in/out time was sent as well. At the delivery, it was a house. Driver got there at 12pm, as scheduled and left around 3am. As well - unloaded by hand and the team that unloaded my driver came there around 7pm. They left the trailer filthy and scratched the floor. We were rejected at our next pick up, due to the debris left in the trailer. We had to wash the trailer after. This was communicated to Angel David Vargas. He told me they'll take care of the situation, i just need to keep records of everything. All my emails have been ignored, right after i sent the POD and asked for layover. I called Angel today on his direct line 407.544.0916 and he said he'll put me on hold for a minute and just hung up. Did not pick my phone calls after.

Load #2481848-1 - rip off, short pay, avoid them
[#1075864] Short Payment on Load #2481848-1 Got a deduction of $150.00 for "No picture of seal/Bill of Lading (BOL) sent before leaving shipper". The driver picked up the load and had to take the 10h break to be able to make the delivery on time, and safely. As soon as the driver got his 10-hour break, he sent the BOL. Armstrong Transport Group applied the $150 for that.
