Avoid doing business with Universal Capacity Solutions and Ryan GIlliam

Avoid doing business with Universal Capacity Solutions and Ryan GIlliam RGilliam@shipwithu.com: Booked a load with a FCFS delivery load as per Rate Con. Got the confirmation from broker that it is a load that doesn’t need appointment. Truck got to delivery in time just to be informed to come back later. Came back later just to be informed to deliver at another location. Got to another location just to be informed that they don’t accept the load. Back and forth for 3 days. Zero help, support and implication from Ryan, just the answer “we will let you know if we can get any headway from them”. Asked from Ryan to escalate to management which he refused during all that time; Had to get the contacts ourselves in order to escalate the issue. They paid just 2 layovers for 3 days and cancelled reload which clearly doesn’t even compensate the lost time and money.

    they are crooks...

Universal Capacity Solutions.... specifically broker Benjamin Friddell (615) 815-3436. Ran a load for them last November... driver arrived on time and was laid over 3 days... I was offered 2 days layover and told that was the best they can do. Daily the broker told me that he didn't know the reciever was like that. When I talked to another broker he was like "that place"... and the broker knew... he said they all knew.... Flash forward a week after the load was delivered... I got a new rate con deducting 50 bucks for not tracking... I emailed the broker proof of tracking and he said he would look into it and neve responded to another email again.... End of January, I get paid on the load... minus the 50 bucks. I called and got someone who told me Ben no longer works there and that's why he never replied. Swore I would get paid... he said he saw where I sent the tracking proof, ans where Ben said he would look into it and then ghosted. Today, I get a follow up email saying I should have a new rate con today. My dispatcher tried to book a load with them a few hours later and was told we were on the DNU list. 30 minutes later I get a email from Ben (didn't they tell me he no longer worked there?) saying he told me that he would be going to Europe to "study" and that I was denied the new rate con... and that was final. I replied, that the email chain doesn't reflect that and I would file on the bond... he said go ahead.... So.... they are crooks...
