Reason: Accessorial non payment (detention, TONU, lumper, layover, redelivery)
To Dominique Andre A load was booked through the broker with the understanding that it was clean and palletized. Upon delivery and unloading in Painesville, OH, it was discovered that the trailer was filled with loose plastic granules, which required a trailer washout before the next load could be taken. Contacted the broker immediately and provided photo evidence of the trailer condition. Broker approved the washout after review. Washout was completed, and the receipt was submitted to the broker for reimbursement. Despite multiple follow-ups and the broker’s repeated assurances that reimbursement would be issued “by the end of the day,” payment has not been received. It has now been nearly two weeks since the incident and approval.
